More than 50 thousand precious lives of children and people of Gaza were taken by the Zionist army, eight big cities of Gaza were razed to the ground and more than 20 hospitals were destroyed along with the patients admitted in them, but none of the western governments said anything to complain. Even they did not stop sending military equipment to the Zionist army (1,2). The result of this silence is the barbaric attack of the Zionist regime on Lebanon. In the past month, Zionist forces sabotaged the pagers of the Lebanese people, which were used to inform about the news of the war, and dozens of children, young people, and the elderly have suffered blindness and amputation of their fingers. It is unfortunate that none of the international medical associations protested about this terrorist incident. As the editor of Journal of Iranian Medical Council, as a human being and as a Muslim, I have a duty to remind and write the crimes of the Zionist regime and record it in the history of medical documentation; to sensitize and awaken the conscience of the world’s medical community. Those who are familiar with history, especially in the Middle East, know that when you sow the wind, you reap the storm, and the future of the aggressors against the innocent people of Gaza and Lebanon will be quite frightening. What is especially important in Lebanon is the unity of people with different religions. Certainly, all the Lebanese people, including the Lebanese Christians and their religious places, have been attacked, and it is not only the Lebanese Shia people who are fighting with the aggressor army. Lebanon has been synonymous with the coexistence of different religions, and God willing, this historical unity and coexistence will remain. What is important is that the support of the people of the West for the innocent people of Gaza and Lebanon is completely different from their governments, and even the establishment of extreme right-wing governments in the West will not affect the people’s attitude.
